Can Nurses in AF go overseas their first assignment?

I really want to go to Okinawa my first assignment, really anywhere in Japan.
theres a chance for you being able to go anywhere…they let you list places once you join and they try to get you to the places that are top on your list

Yes. I was assigned to a hospital my entire army career but some of the nurses I trained with were sent all over the world. Some did training in ft benning to deploy 3 weeks after graduation.
