Japan Study Abroad HIT 2004

0 Japan Study Abroad HIT 2004This is a documentary style video I produced in 2004 (hence the awesomely outdated and rough styling, and not to mention the TERRIBLE narrative, hey I was a dimwit back then, still am). I studied abroad in Hiroshima Japan in the summer of ’04 and had to produce a documentary as a fellowship project. I was 19 years old and it was the first time being out of the country out on my own. As you’ll see, I made some great memories and met some wonderful people, many of whom are my friends to this day. With that, if you ever get an opportunity to study abroad or the like, do it!!! You won’t regret it.

Note: For those of you that are hypersensitive to racial remarks, this video is not intended to offend or generalize any particular culture, but rather acts as an honest reaction stemming from culture shock. It was the first time many of us to have left the country to visit a homogeneous society and a place so different from the states. Moreover, it was the year 2004 and we were a bunch of kids running around , meeting people and making friends in Japan. So just relax and enjoy it!
