NURSE Jiggy Manicad Reports Nursing has become the chosen course of many students hoping for the chance to work abroad. For the past five years, the number of students taking nursing continues to increase. However, many still fail to reach their dreams. Many nursing graduates are still not practicing their profession while others work despite the low salary. Will this situation be ever reversed? How should the government address this problem?

Question by : I want to be a nurse and study abroad in an American university in Europe can you please tell me some schools?
Okay well I want to be a nurse and be able to go to an American university in Europe. But I can’t find any for nursing. And it also can’t be that expensive. Can you please help me I really need it.

Best answer:

Answer by Spock (rhp)
nursing requires hands on training and experience. afaik, there are no nursing programs run by American Universities that take place anywhere in Europe.

you’d have to be able to interact with the patients and that would require that either you speak their language fluently, or they be native speakers of English. Pretty much limits the possibilities, doesn’t it?

What do you think? Answer below!

Studying University overseas.?

Question by Vintage&Limes: Studying University overseas.?
would be a Senior next year and I’m currently studying in Singapore because we migrated a few years ago. I have just recently knew that if i have to continue my studies here, i would have to go for either Junior College for 3 years or Polytechnic for 2 or 3 years. And i prefer going staight to University without entering JC or Poly. Is it possible to get in straight into university if i study overseas? If i can do so, which universities are best to enter in?

Best answer:

Answer by M.poo
JC is 2 years. Poly 3 years.

Some other pre-u programmes you can do will be the IB (International Baccalaureate) which is 2 years as well.

Presuming you are doing your O Levels, I doubt any good university out there will recognise that as a pre-u. If you do it in the UK/ Aussie, there are many foundation programs you can take before uni and those are only 1 year long.
